Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors 26
Inside the church at Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand. The European settlers came to NZ two hundred years ago, and this church was one of the first in New Zealand, but I think this was a later window, judging by the style.

Whimsical Windows Delirious Doors 25
The Treaty of Waitangi is the founding document of New Zealand, signed in 1840 between Britain and the Maori tribes. This is the house it was signed in.

Back from the North
We have just returned from our holiday in the far north of New Zealand. Photos in the next few days, but in the meantime, here is a Tui in Kororareka (Russell in the Bay of Islands).

Sunday purrsuits, up a tree fiddley diddley
Firstly, I chased the "Gay Oriental" cat from next door up at tree.
He thought that was fun, so he returned the favour. I could only exit the tree onto the neighbour's boundary fence. Then I disappeared for 3 hours in the wilderness of the house next door. Much fretting was done in our house by "Mother of cats"
Grandpa puss and big sister puss ran around looking for me
I believe I am now "grounded", so I'm catching up with some beauty sleep before the next foray in to the wilds of northern Wellington. "Mother of cats" is threatening to drink a large gin and tonic to steady her nerves. I prefer milk myself.
