Glass from the past

Carlisle, Cumbria

When I married, I had the white rose of York as the main flower in my bouquet. I was born in the city and my family has lived there for generations. The rose is part of the coat of arms of a number of aristocratic families. Here it appears in a window dedicated to the Richard, Duke of York.
