Hi Ms Sparrow, as it says on the blog, Qatar, which is a country attached to S. Arabia (it looks a bit like thumb sticking out into the Arabian Peninsula).

The distant past seems so alive here - an architectural style that transcends centuries if not millennia. The dome shaped arched on the portal and window is very cool, and that door was crafted in a way that modern computer designed doors of today do not. Great captures!
