A cousin recently sent me this photo of my dad and grandparents, taken in 1949. It just dawned on me that my grandma is the same age in this photo as I am now. She looks so much older - or am I kidding myself?
Oh! your Dad is so dapper - good looking and dressed with class!! I think the fashion for women in those days didn't do anything to enhance beauty - it was, to say the least -depressing! but maybe they didn't think so.
