I am back, like a migrating bird, only in reverse; meaning I have flown north for the summer and landed in the S. Hemisphere, just in time for spring.
In other words, I'm confused.
Over the next few days, for your delight and delectation, some of the UK photos, with stories.
To start off with - the potatoes. This year my 80 year old father harvested 128 pounds of them, which is a heck of a lot of mash.
Then there's the onions. Firstly dried, hung from the garden wall like outrageous earrings, then from the ceiling of the garage like bulbous chandeliers.

Your family sounds wonderful, which is not surprising, given the daughter their wonderfulness culminated in!
From your FB status(es) I gather you had a very good time. I am sure you were all happy to see each other.
Thank you Ruti, what a nice thing to say! Yes Isabelle, it was a lovely time together. My husband is still with my parents, and then heads south to visit his mum. I won't see him for another 2 weeks.
