It seems we have an over abundance of them in NZ, so this was obviously the perfect meme for me:-)

if you have an overabundance of such whimsy, then I really look forward to your Monday postings!
Is this a house that has gone to such lengths to decorate?

It feels so Victorian - where the smallest of details are clad in bold and brilliant paint. I like the blue arrows, pointing up and down, a cute if confusing detail. I like the rotund bay window. This is amazing, beautiful and very fun!

Hi All, thanks for your comments. This was taken on our very Bohemian shopping street in Wellington, Cuba Street. Most of the shops are still the 19th century ones, which have been converted to being earthquake proof. I can't decide if I like the colours and stars on this or whether I would have preferred it to be a bit more subtle.

Very colorful and whimsical! That could just as well be San Francisco.
